Whole Foods Raw Vegan Dinner - 8/26/10
The five supremely talented chefs of Whole Foods Market hosted a gorgeous meal as part of their Summer Dinner Series, celebrating raw/vegan cuisine. Under a handsome white tent and delicate white lights, guests were served seven inventive courses, celebrating the theme. Favorites included Thai basil consume, Portobello “steak” over peanut noodles, and raw mango pomegranate crème caramel. Also of interest was a witty play on ceviche, utilizing young coconut in place of seafood. The dinner series continues into the fall. Photography by Rachel Stadelmeier
