Return of the Cookie Cruise
After a two-year hiatus, the O’Connor family again hosted the Pittsburgh tradition, formerly a political fundraiser for the late mayor Bob O’Connor, transforming it into a charitable event. The largest turnout yet piled 1,400 guests onto the Gateway Clipper Fleet for fireworks, Iron City beer, chicken, hot dogs, and, of course, cookies, to help raise funds for the Highmark Caring Foundation.
