Family House Polo Match - 9/11/10
Family House Polo Match
The 27th Annual Family House Polo Match at Hartwood Acres was filled with fun for the whole family. Before the games began, guests were invited to peruse the vendors in the Boutique Village and take their kids to the children’s entertainment tent, featuring airbrush tattoos and face painting. Crowds then gathered to watch Virginia International Polo Club triumph against the Potomac Club. After the thrilling polo match ended, guests enjoyed a post-match celebration filled with music by Eighties Enough revival band and cookies and desserts by The Fluted Mushroom. A record number 2,000 people attended the polo match and a remarkable $200,000 was raised to support Family House’s mission to ensure that families who are undergoing medical treatment are at ease in their living facilities.
