Challenge the Champions - 9/17/10
Challenge the Champions 2010
Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin and his wife, Kiya, showed Pittsburgh the true meaning of sportsmanship at the fourth annual Challenge the Champions, which they co-chaired. More than 225 guests huddled together at Heinz Field to raise money for Every Child Inc., a non-profit organization that serves at-risk families and their children throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. The night kicked off with a tour of the Steelers locker room, followed by a run through the tunnel from the locker room to the field. Guests enjoyed specialty black and gold martinis as Coach Tomlin emceed a live auction, featuring vacations to Monterey, Calif., and Miami, Fla. The estimated $55,000 raised will go directly to families and children in need at Every Child Inc.
