April in Paris - 4/8/10
Guests walked into the Carnegie Museum of Art and were immediately taken to the fragrant “jardins” and culturally sophisticated streets of France at the April in Paris Preview Gala and Silent Auction. April in Paris was just the beginning event of a three-day celebration at the Carnegie Museum of Art dubbed Art in Bloom, which featured works of art, floral arrangements, and much more. April in Paris, hosted by the Women’s Committee, paired inspiring artwork with accompanying floral arrangements throughout the museum for more than 475 guests to admire. A French-themed silent auction to benefit the Women’s Committee was held and featured items such as round-trip fare for two to Paris, framed artwork, and jewelry. Photography by Megan Wylie
