Pittsburgh Cultural Trusts Arts Gala-Ree - 10/2/10
Guests partied in the name of the arts at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Arts Gala-ree! The night started on the Benedum Center stage with stylish cocktails and small plates, followed up with dinner catered by The Duquesne Club in four different locations. The dining locales for the evening included a “First Night” room with a New Year’s Eve-themed dinner and atmosphere, a Broadway-themed room featuring performances from the West Side Story score, and a Dance Council room. The night kept on swingin’ with a concert put on by the LA-based band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. “The high point was definitely Big Dad Voodoo Daddy. They put on a great show,” says Veronica Corpuz, director of public relations for the Cultural Trust. More than $400,000 was raised for Pittsburgh Cultural Trust arts and education programs.
