August Wilson Center for African American Culture Sneak Preview - 5/29/09
Just before the new August Wilson Center for African American Culture opened its doors to the public, a select number of guests got a private tour of the new Liberty Avenue space. The Center is a not-for-profit organization that presents a variety of performing, visual and educational programs that commemorate the impact and contributions of African Americans in the region. At the event, hosted by Jacqui and Jeff Morby and Judy and Ron Davenport, guests enjoyed cocktails while receiving a tour of the new facility with president and CEO Neil Barclay, and the Center’s architect, Allison Williams.
